Musician, visual artist and fiction writer Carla Bozulich has been infiltrating the various aspects of the Los Angeles art scene since 1982. Most known for her work under Evangelista, essentially a solo project but with a constantly rotating backing band, Bozulich has also performed with The Geraldine Fibbers, Scarnella (a duo with Nels Cline), Ethyl Meatplow and others. Characteristically, Bozulich produces creative indie noise-rock with highly experimental/ambient leanings. Though most of her work isn't palatable enough for the mainstream, Bozulich has always maintained an underground cult following and is a truly talented artist.
