Delorean is an alternative dance band from Zarautaz, a Basque town in northern Spain. Formed in 2000, by individuals who were looking to blend their shared appreciation of punk and dance music, Delorean played for several years, achieving little mainstream success until it relocated to Barcelona in 2007 and truly began to incorporate more synthetic elements into its sound. Achieving a characteristic sonic aesthetic, the band began to receive international attention as it played more and more shows and the group's 2010 LP, Subiza, helped cement Delorean's status as a forward thinking modern band that is able to eloquently blend rock and dance music.
