The Swedish punk band Holograms combines the aggression of punk rock with the electronics of new wave to create a post punk sound. After releasing its self-titled debut LP in 2012, the band traveled to the New York City to kick off its first North American tour at the Mercury Lounge. Just before the embarking on the tour, Holograms released its music video for "Fever," and the new wave-inspired video of nonsensical cut-out images moving across ombre backgrounds offers a glimpse of the cheeky, chaotic and danceable vibes found on its full-length album.
