Co-founder of the bay area record label/collective Anticon and former member of supergroup cLOUDDEAD (with members of Why? and Doseone), David P. Madson began creating music in 1998 while still living in the Midwest. His DJ sets and production gained him a respectable following and took him out west to California. Donning the name Odd Nosdam, Madson began creating lo-fi, sample-heavy collages layered over beat-driven soundscapes, resulting in a unique style of electronica that has become the defining sound of the Anticon label.
