Unifier is an indie rock band that fuses its sharp pop sensibility with alternative flavors. Formed in 2010 as Future Ghosts, the band released its debut record, the Oh, Great City EP, in 2011 but has since been hit with a cease and desist letter from the Chicago-based project known as Future Ghost, forcing Future Ghosts to remove its online presence entirely and find a new name. Without any social media outlets, including Facebook, Bandcamp and Reverbnation, the band released its first full-length album Colorado, in 2012. Recovering quickly from its first major setback, the band found a new home with the name Unifier and continues to move forward with its fans and record label behind it.
