Because there's a startling number of electropop duos out there with some dude producing the synth heavy instrumentals and a cute gal acting as front woman, spewing characteristically fem vocals, it has gotten quite difficult to navigate through these electro twosomes and decipher which ones are truly worthy of listening to. One act that's worthy of praise and repeated listens is the Australian electropop duo The Golden Filter. The group was formed in 2008 and after releasing its debut album in 2010, the group has managed to find a surprisingly dedicated following in its home country and with more studio releases, the band will undoubtedly find success overseas.
