Western Medication is post punk band from Nashville that was formed in 2011 by Justin Landis. After ditching prescription drugs for alternative remedies like acupuncture, Landis was inspired to create a band to combat the wave of half-baked rock music dominating the soundwaves. Along with Adam Moult, Kevin Kilpatrick and Alycia Wahn, he crafted a southern post punk sound and released Western Medication's debut record The Painted World, in 2013 via Jeffrey Drag Records.
