New Trolls is an Italian progressive rock band that's history is rife with internal conflicts, lineup changes and drama-fueled strife between the group's members. Founded in 1967, New Trolls established itself with a dynamic sound that featured adept composition with symphonic leanings. This grandiose sound helped New Trolls become a major player in the Italian rock scene of the 1970s, though after heated bickering nearly gutted the band, it turned into a shadow of its former self. Although, time tends to heal wounds, and the passing of calendar days has helped strengthen the band and it continues to soldier on and release music and perform shows to enraptured audiences on a near regular basis.
