Scenic is a Perth, Australia-based band with an ethereal pop sound that sounds as if it did a healthy cycle in a psychedelic washing machine. With spacey instrumentals and woozy vocals, the group's characteristic style of music is a blend of late 1960s paisley rock material and more modern dance rock, resulting in a style of music well suited for the modern infatuation with nostalgia. The group released its disco-inspired debut EP, Another Sky, in 2011 and followed up the release in 2013 with Shockwaves, an EP that found the band furthering and evolving its tripped out style of pop music.
