Folly and the Hunter

By blending an instrumental, post-rock sound with a defined folk style, the Montreal-based band Folly and the Hunter has managed to latch onto a unique sonic aesthetic since forming in 2010. Shortly after its inception, the band was able to polish its sound and solidify its songwriting approach by playing a number of shows around the Montreal metro area. Folly and the Hunter released its debut LP, Residents, in 2011 and the album helped establish the group as a band that isn't afraid to cross pollinate musical genres in order to achieve its artistic endgame.
