Mystic Braves

Blending a number of genres that seems to speak to the very core of Southern California style including surf rock and psychedelic, the Los Angeles-based band Mystic Braces (née Blackfoot Braves) has latched onto a sounds that pays homage to the group's geographical epicenter. The band released its self-titled debut album in 2012 and the LP's stoner-friendly blend of hazy production aesthetics and textured guitar arrangements helped distinguish the Mystic Braves apart from the myriad of other acts out there on the sprawling Los Angeles music scene.
