Clear Plastic Masks

Not many bands make rock 'n' roll anymore. A lot claim to, but the overwhelming majority of the material is watered down drivel that's not worthy of repeated listens. The Nashville, Tennessee-based group Clear Plastic Masks is an exception. The group's no nonsense approach to creating rugged, unrefined rock is blatantly evident on the first four bars of any of the band's songs. Formed in 2011, Clear Plastic Masks spent its formative years playing low profile gigs--honing its rough hewn sound--before entering the studio to record its self titled 2013 debut EP.
