Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa is a Chicago-born rapper who got his start as a member of the hip-hop group Kids These Days. Though he released a single solo album, titled Straight Up, in 2010, he turned his full attention to his own musical endeavors in 2013, when his group split up, leaving him free to focus on his solo career. Mensa released his sophomore mixtape, INANETAPE, in 2013, and subsequently embarked on a national tour of the US along with fellow up-and-coming artists J. Cole and Wale.
