Poor Old Shine

Whether playing at a large festival with thousands in attendance or in a dingy basement with no one around, Poor Old Shine is a band that gets kicks from just playing. Based out of Storrs, CT, the group blends a distinctive vintage folk sound with a discernible early to mid-20th Century literary quality to create a style of music that sounds like what the Joad's would be listening to if their Hudson truck had a stereo for their fateful cross country trip to California. Formed in 2010, the band cut its teeth on the live circuit during its formative years before entering the studio to record its 2013 debut album.
