Taurus Scott's affinity for music started at an early age. Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Scott started drumming in a jazz band in elementary school and began DJing at the age of 12. With a diverse love of various genres, he began to compose a style of music that was difficult to pigeonhole, though he has dubbed his sonic amalgam "electronic glitch hop." Having spent time in both New York City and Los Angeles, two metropolitan meccas that have equally influenced his sound, Scott eventually made his solo LP, The Intro, and released it in 2012.
