Emerging out of the neo-psychedelic landscape of Austin, Christian Bland & The Revelators is the solo project of The Black Angels's guitarist Christian Bland. After recording his debut full length in 2007, he finally dropped The Lost Album in 2010 with his band The Revelators. Allowing his signature guitar textures to stand at the forefront of the music, he rose to recognition outside of The Black Angels by the time he dropped his second offering, Pig Boat Blues, in 2012.
