Even though most of the music created by the Denver-based experimental rock band Woodsman is fairly aligned and methodically planed, there is a strong undercurrent of vulnerability in many of the group's songs. The band's tunes can be centered around a simple drum beat or a tape loop, but somehow there is a degree of fallacy that brings an inherent human element into the music to make it more accessible. The group released its debut EP, Mystery Tape, in 2010 and as the band continues to hone its sound with touring, it'll hopefully grow into a band that continues to do what it does best: interject elements of errant instrumental adeptness into modern avant-garde rock.
