The Edmonton Elks is a Canadian Football team based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that was founded in 1949. Having quickly established itself as a formidable team with a knack for tenacity, the club won its first Grey Cup in 1954 and has managed to win the championship again several times over since then. Competing in the West Division of the Canadian Football League, the organization has built a reputation for itself over its decades-long career as one of the more physical teams in the league.
