Well-known as a core member of the art rock band Field Music, David Brewis is an experimental singer/songwriter and musician who uses the pseudonym School of Language. While between active sessions with his band, he recorded his first solo album, Sea From Shore, in 2008, allowing his pop sensibility to shine through his experimental lens. Brewis released his sophomore School of Language LP, Old Fears, in 2014.
