Hailing from Oakland, CA, Zendaya is a singer and actress who emerged as a Diseny Channel star in 2010. After landing her breakthrough gig on the network's Shake It Up!, she took on her first film role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Frenemies, in 2012. Following a successful stint on Dancing With the Stars, Zendaya went on to release her debut single, "Replay," in 2013, earning international commercial acclaim for her R&B-infused pop sound and a fair amount of anticipation for her subsequent self-titled album.
