Miley Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter and actress who rose to fame as the star of the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Earning a rabid tween fan base and cashing in all all things Hannah Montana, including merchandise, concerts, recordings and feature films, she began to break out on her own. She released her debut album under her own name, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, in 2007. After two more studio LPs and the commercial hit single, "Party in the U.S.A.," Cyrus completed the final season of Hannah Montana in 2011. Afterwards, she immediately began shedding her clean teen idol image with not only more sexually explicit material, but with even more controversial behavior. She released her fourth studio album, Bangerz, on RCA Records in 2013, earning widespread attention for the drug-inspired single "We Can't Stop," and its accompanying music video.
