The Good Life is the folk rock project of Tim Kasher, who is known for fronting his long-time emo band Cursive. Leaning away from his post hardcore roots to embrace his singer/songwriter side, Kasher surrounded himself with friends to realize The Good Life's debut album, Novena on a Nocturn in 2000 with Saddle Creek Records. Despite its stylistic departure, the record resonated well with his built-in following and Kasher continues to release new albums under The Good Life, including 2015's Everybody's Coming Down.
