Le Mans FC

A popular football club from France, Le Mans FC features in Ligue 2, the second tier of the French league. Since it was founded in 1985, the club has ridden a roller coaster of luck and form, having been part of the top-most and bottom-most levels of French football. Although it did enjoy a fairly successful stint in top flight football in the early 2000s, however a run of bad luck would cut its stay short. While the team may not have much to show in terms of trophies, it has managed to field a number of renowned players such as Didier Drogba and Gervinho.
