Hamburger Sport-Verein, frequently referred to as Hamburger SV, Hamburg or HSV, is a professional German football team that competes in the Bundesliga 2. Based in Hamburg, the team was founded in 1887 and is distinguished as being the only team that has played in every Bundesliga league since its formation in 1963 until its subsequent relegation in 2018. With several DFB-Pokal, DFB-Supercup and Bundesliga titles and one UEFA Champions League trophy to its credit, it is also one of Germany's most successful football clubs. During home matches, the team plays at the Volksparkstadion.
