SV Werder Bremen, often referred to as Bremen, is a German football team. The club is a member of the Bundesliga, the top league in Germany. Founded in 1899, Bremen has won Bundesliga four times and also was victorious in the 1992 European Cup. Bremen and main rival Hamburger SV are two of the most popular clubs in Northern Germany. Bremen plays its home matches at Weserstadion.
