A native of Portland, OR, Alexandra Savior McDermott was first-noticed in 2012 by punk singer Courtney who came across her cover of Angus Stone's "Big Jet Plane." The following year, she moved to Los Angeles after signing a record deal with Columbia Records. Her 2017 debut album Belladonna of Sadness, co-written by Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, put her on the map instantly, giving her the start many dream of. The same year, she collaborated with Lea Michele and Dark Tea on the tracks "Sentimental Memories" and "Providence Sky" respectively. Her second album The Archer was released in January 2020.
