Hearing Rilo Kiley is like breathing a big breath of fresh air. The band isn't that innovative or instrumentally talented, but the collective noise that the band creates together is extremely soothing and relaxing. The band was formed in 1998 in Los Angeles and has undoubtedly matured since its formative days as a little indie pop band trying to find its legs in the cut throat LA music scene.
