Lulu is a singer/songwriter from Scottland who rose to fame during the 1960s. Known for her infectious pop sensibility and powerful singing voice, she first earned international fame with the hit single "To Sir With Love," the theme song for James Clavell's 1967 film of the same name. The single appeared on her sophomore LP, Love Loves to Love Lulu, released by Columbia and Epic records. Lulu is also well-known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 with the entry "Boom Bang-a-Bang." Lulu continued to drop commercially successful pop records like 1976's Heaven and Earth and the Star, and 1982's Take Me to Your Heart Again, over the decades and has maintained her status as a pop icon despite the ever-evolving nature of the music industry.
