Founded in 1994, Vermont Lake Monsters is a Class A Short Season affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. The team competes in the Stedler Divison of the New York-Penn League and has won the league title once and the division title on four occasions. Representing the city of Burlington, Vermont, it plays its home games at the Centennial Field.
