Michael Kenji Shinoda, better known as Mike Shinoda, is a singer, songwriter and musician from the United States. He is more popularly known as the co-founder of the legendary band, Linkin Park. Shinoda is the band's lead vocalist, keyboardist, rhythm guitarist and producer. The band has produced several studio albums like Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns along with fan-favorite songs like "Numb." Aside from Linkin Park, Shinoda has also created a side project called Fort Minor, a hip-hop endeavor, which released its debut album The Rising Tied in the year 2005. Following the demise of Chester Bennington, Shinoda released a solo EP titled Post Traumatic, which feature songs portraying his inner turmoil about the incident and its aftereffect. He is also the co-founder of the record label Machine Shop Records.
