Kiefer Shackelford, who performs and releases music simply as Kiefer, is a Los Angeles-based keyboardist. Dipping his toes in the beat-heavy electronic music scene and the intellectually-driven jazz world, Kiefer manages to create a type of sonic portmanteau with his music that pays homage to both styles of music without being a clear representative of either. Kiefer released his debut album, Kickinit Alone, in 2017 and since then the talented musician has become a mainstay of Southern California's forward thinking music scene.
