Commonly known as Wolves, Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. is a popular club of the English Premier League. The team was founded in 1877 and spent most of its time playing in the lower tiers of English football, although it did have numerous stints in the Premier League. While its first ever stint in the top in 2003 flight only lasted a season, it survived four seasons the next time and has built on from there. After securing promotion in 2018, the team finished the subsequent season in seventh place, earning a spot in the Europa League for the first time in its history.
