Dirt Dress

Dirt Dress is a trio formed in Los Angeles in 2007 that gained attention for releasing its EPs on cassette tapes. Originally playing its bluesy lo-fi garage primarily at the popular and skeezy LA venue The Smell, the band has since moved up the venue ladder (slightly) to playing a residency at Spaceland--at least they received more hi-tech light shows and effects here, even if the skeeze factor remained. Though the band has by no means become an overnight success, Dirt Dress is still a dedicated group of musicians and likely to continue to grow its fan base, slowly but surely.
