Combo Chimbita is a New York City-based band that blends together elements of mystic folk, spacey psychedelia and enigmatic punk to create a unique style of music that well suited for today's overwrought and multifaceted music scene. Combo Chimbita released its debut EP, El Corredor del Jaguar, in 2016 and dealing with themes of the occult, Latinix diaspora and class consciousness, the collection of songs helped establish the group as an act unafraid to pursue lyrical issues that bands oftentimes shy away from.
