The Slip

The Slip's origins date back to a brotherly collaboration between Brad and Andrew Barr at a New England boarding school. The two began as a classic rock cover band until they eventually brought on jazz bassist Marc Friedman and started exploring a more adventurous indie-rock sound. All three members would go on to attend the Berklee School of Music, so their chops are impressive and refined. Taking inspiration from influences as far-reaching as Built to Spill, Can, U2 and Miles Davis' Bitches Brew, The Slip is a band that refuses to settle into one mold.
