Born Alma-Sofia Miettinen, ALMA is a Finnish singer and songwriter who debuted on Idols, a Finnish talent show, in 2013. Although she did not win, she was signed by Universal Music soon after and released her chart-topping, debut single, "Karma," in 2016. Her first EP Dye My Hair dropped later that same year and Heavy Rules, her debut mixtape, was released in 2017. She has since collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX, Tove Lo and French Montana.
