Revolver

French chamber pop trio Revolver formed in 2006 in an apartment that had thin walls and neighbors sensitive to noise. The result of these early band practices was a quiet, primarily acoustic sound. While Revolver eventually included drums and some electric instrumentation, it has continued to produce music in a primarily quiet and charming style, full of vocal harmonies in French accents and quirky cello solos. The release of its first album peaked the blogosphere's attention and the release of its second album grabbed highly positive reviews from many publications.
