Auburn University is a public university based out of Auburn, Alabama that was chartered on February 7th, 1856. The Tigers are the name of the various sports teams that compete for the university in the Southeastern Conference of the NCAA Division I. Though Auburn plays host to quintessential sports teams such as basketball, baseball and football, the school's swimming and diving teams have distinguished themselves multiple times over, winning national titles and building a reputation as one of the more formidable swim and dive organizations in the country.
