The Samps

Started as the self-indulgent side project for Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti guitarist, Cole M. Greif-Neill, The Samps soon became a trio, with members of Dimesland and Nite Jewel joining in. The California boys began spastically blending elements of classic RnB, soul, video game soundtracks and blippy robotic samples. While the result certainly isn't a smooth and easy listen, it's nuanced and interesting - managing to keep the attention of even the most ADD listener.
