Backyard Tire Fire is a trio formed in Asheville, North Carolina that makes classic roots rock songs reminiscent of another era, but with a modern touch. At the core of the group were brothers Ed and Matt Anderson who are heavily influenced by heartland rockers, crafting songs that mesh Americana grit with 1960s jangle pop and Southern-inflected vocals.
