Jay Sean is the stage name for Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, a British pop musician who specializes in rap, R&B and beatboxing. Jay Sean gained huge popularity with the release of his first album, Me Against Myself in 2004 and even though the LP was only moderately successful in the UK, it managed to sell over two million copies throughout Asia. Since then, Jay Sean has firmly placed himself amongst the world's top pop music acts, with several of his albums topping the charts in not only Asia, but also in the United States and around Europe.
