Even though Aiello has been the star of countless gangster movies like The Godfather and infamously as Sal in Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing, he can also be a charmer when he sings "Besame Mucho" with all the life of a finely aged red wine. Danny Aiello released I Just Want To Hear The Words in 2004--it had taken him a long time to build up enough courage to do so because he had been worried about how the public would receive another actor turned musician. Luckily, critics and fans loved the record as a welcoming surprise with his Sinatra-esque delivery.
