Best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in Jonathan Larson's 1996 musical Rent, Anthony Rapp has been performing musicals and one-man shows since 1981. Aside from Rent, Rapp has continued performing on Broadway, the West End and in film with shows like You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and in movies such as A Beautiful Mind, Adventures in Babysitting and Dazed and Confused. In addition to Broadway performances, Rapp has also worked on his own music, releasing his debut CD Look Around in 2000. In 2007, he and fellow Rent cast member Adam Pascal (who played Roger on stage and in the film version) reunited for a special run of Rent on Broadway and a tour of the United States in the show. In 2010, Rapp and Pascal reunited again for a cabaret-style tour, singing their own songs and performing Broadway classics.
