It took UK band Catfight's lead singer a whole year to assemble the right group of all-girl rockers for her dream band. She not only wanted them to have the right look, but she also needed them to be able to slam the drums, wail on guitar, and jam on bass. The group admits to trying to keep the legacy of Joan Jett alive by wearing her all black tee-shirts and leather jackets aesthetic, but Catfight has an updated sound derived more from alternative rock than from Suzi Quatro.
