Cast Spells

Cast Spells is the side-project of Maps & Atlases front man David Davidson. Davidson's eccentric pop and folk style is passed down from musicians like Brian Eno and David Byrne; but rather than employing the various electronic elements that Eno uses, Davidson's Cast Spells project is more pointedly acoustic in nature, bringing Davidson gruff voice to the foreground. Davidson's lyrics and songwriting skills are his true musical gifts, making Cast Spells an ideal project to showcase those talents.
