Bruce Peninsula

Bruce Peninsula is an indie rock band from Ontario, Canada that stands as one of the more celebrated rock acts to emerge from the Canadian milieu in quite some time. Consisting of five members and regular guest performers who got together in 2006 to form the band, the music of Bruce Peninsula has since transformed into a charming fusion of prog, gospel, country and pop in indie rock packaging. The band released its debut album A Mountain is a Mouth in 2009 to widespread critical acclaim, earning Bruce Peninsula a Polaris Music Prize nod that same year.
