Gary Clark Jr.

It's a rare breed of musician that gets a day named after him in his hometown and an even rarer breed that receives this honor at the tender age of 17--Gary Clark Jr. has achieved both and did so with style. Born and bred in Austin, Texas, Clark is a superlative guitar player who is largely considered to be the foremost musician on the contemporary Texas blues scene. Clark is a much sought after musician and has, in the past, worked with such blues luminaries as Jimmie Vaughn, Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton.
