Jesse Boykins III

New York City singer Jesse Boykins III is a neo-soul and R&B artist that draws on a wide array of musical influences.On Boykins' third album Love Apparatus he used electronic music producer Machine Drum, who has crafted Boykins' skillful songwriting into the sounds of house and electro. Boykins' voice recalls the great 90s artist D'Angelo, who also brought an unconventional songwriting aesthetic to new styles of music.
