No Gold is an indie rock band from Vancouver, Canada that specializes in a unique brand of music defined by its members as "clear sky ambient funk." The band, like many others, has its own dubious origins of getting together to play music as an excuse to sweat out toxins at various illegal basement venues throughout Vancouver. However, the members of No Gold probably would never have guessed that their late night musical detoxes would transform into a serious professional career, with the critically acclaimed release of their 2010 self-titled EP being a testament to how truly big the band is about to become.
