Pacific! is a synthpop project formed by childhood friends, Bjorn Synneby and Daniel Hogberg. The Swedish duo aims to combine rich, melodic songs--equally inspired by 60s rock and 80s dance pop--with the electronic sheen of modern, house-influenced dance music. Pacific!'s swirling electronics, psychedelic and dreamy backdrops and use of four-on-the-floor pulses have garnered them comparisons to French house giants, like Daft Punk. Synneby and Hogberg don't shy away from their rock tendencies, however, as distorted guitar crunches frequently pop in and out in the duo's music.
